New Look. New Framework.

Welcome to the improved RebeccaResler.com. Not only does this place look better (hopefully), its backbone is better as well.

The details of the new site can be found on the About the Site page, but basically I've replaced the previous version of the site which was developed on the CodeIgniter php framework with an improved site developed on the Laravel framework.

In recent years, CodeIgniter support hasn't been what it used to be, so I started looking for another php framework to start using. I had heard a lot of good things about Laravel. I liked what I found while "playing around" with it, so I decided to rebuild the entire system using it. Obviously it was a bit of an undertaking, but I like a challenge. :)

This site is the first site that I've developed using my new Laravel CMS, but I'm hoping it won't be the last.
